Biography of Dr. Munisamy Anandan, President & Interim CEO

Munisamy Anandan received his Ph. D in plasma display in 1980. Since then he has been working on the development and manufacturing of flat panel displays that includes LCD, OLED, plasma display and FED. Dr. Anandan served as Director of process engineering at eMagin Corporation for developing and producing full color OLED Micro-displays which are currently on the market. He worked with the team and led the team from the front-end process to the final packaging process of OLED Micro-display. He has four years of experience on OLED thin film processes and packaging. He worked on ‘Flat Fluorescent Lamp for LCD backlight’ that provided opportunity to specialize in LCD backlighting employing CCFLs and LEDs for the past seven years. He has been giving seminars on this subject at International conferences and delivering ‘invited talks’ at several conferences. Through this specialization he saw the opportunity of exploiting OLED technology for LCD backlighting especially in cell phones and digital cameras where a huge market exists. He has several patents pending on OLED backlight and the process of examination started, as a result of which the first patent is issued in May 2006. He took the lead in proposing and popularizing the potential of commercial exploitation of OLED technology for LCD backlight, at various International Forums.
Dr. Anandan worked in the field of flat panel displays for nearly 30 years at various organizations namely. eMagin Corporation, Panasonic, Bell Communications Research, Thomas Electronics and Bharath Electronics. He has several research publications, patents and Honors & Awards that includes R&D 100 Award to his credit. He is very closely associated with Society for Information Display (SID) and is the current Treasurer of SID.

Biography of Michael Graziano, Director of Finance

Mr. Graziano’s prior experience includes managing over $2 billion in foreign exchange accounts at Long Term Capital Management, and at Credit Suisse First Boston Capital as a controller. He has a Bachelors of Science Degree in Economics from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania , with further concentrations in market research and entrepreneurial management.
